an integral part of our community.
Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
Our program has also gained International recognition.
We introduced the concept to our Exchange Schools
and they, in turn, sent their special need students
to participate along with the team. The interaction
between students in an inclusive group has been
mutually beneficial and deeply inspirational.
Our special need athletes have consistently excelled in
various competitions and their achievements bring us
immense gratification. Recently, we hosted a Special
Olympic Bharat Event at our School, which was a
National Event for both Tennis and Judo. Ma’am Mallika
Nadda presided over the function. The enthusiasm and
talent displayed by our special need athletes was truly
inspirational.
Sportability has also embraced unique therapeutic
approaches, such as Hippotherapy, which involves the
interaction of horses with humans, particularly those
with special needs. This therapeutic practice has proven
to be profoundly beneficial and healing. For instance,
during Holi celebrations, children with special needs
applied colour to horses, fostering a deep connection
between them. As Winston Churchill once said, “There
is something about the outside of a horse that is good
for the inside of a man.” This belief underpins our
commitment to Hippotherapy, making it a distinctive
feature of our program.
I would like to acknowledge the unwavering support of
our Board of Trustees, particularly Ma’am Ambika Pant,
who conceptualized Sportability. Her dedication and
vision have been instrumental in the program’s success.
Ma’am Anuradha Singh, has constantly encouraged
these special need students by her presence at various
occasions.
As we continue to expand Sportability, we are taking
this message internationally, sharing our experiences
with schools around the world. Our commitment to
inclusivity extends beyond our campus, as we strive
to inspire others to embrace and empower diverse
abilities.
